Inspired by the challenges presented by an otherwise awkward space, and the clients request for a feature wall that would “Pop”, this muralistic muse is the result of a strong relationship between artisan and client.

Entrusted with this courtyard piece and granted freedom of expression, a play between traditional practices and Herringbone’s unique “Bone Dry” style created a fusion that blurred the lines of  artisanry and artistry. Incorporating Tamala Limestone as a border or frame and artfully displaying the rich and vibrant colors and grain of  the Fremantle regions capstone made for a sculptural piece that left this client with no regrets! And a direction that Herringbone will enjoy pursuing  further at any clients request.
